DIRECTIONS TO ASHEVILLE MEET:
Take I-85 North (for about 159 miles).
Take Exit 42 (I-185/US-29 to Greenville).
Bear left on US-29N, I-185 and go Northeast for 1 mile.
Take Exit 1 (US-25/ White Horse Road toward Travelers Rest). Keep left at the fork in the ramp.
Turn left onto White Horse Rd. (White Horse Rd. becomes N US-25 Bypass.) Drive about 10 miles.
Turn slight right onto S. Main St.
Stay straight to go onto N US-25 and go about 22.5 miles.
Continue straight onto US-25 Truck N. and go North for 3.9 miles.
Take the I-26W/US-74W exit and go Northwest for .2 miles.
Bear right onto I-26W, US-74W and go Northwest to Asheville.
Take Exit 1-A to I-40 East toward Hickory.
Take Exit 53B (I-240 & US 74A West to East Asheville).
(From this point you can follow signs to the "WNC Nature Center" and "Recreation Park.")
From the ramp, go straight on US 74A to the "Begin I-240" sign.
Take Exit 8 immediately to the right toward US 74A.
At the light, turn right onto Rt. 74A West.
Go straight to the "T" intersection and turn right onto Rt. 81 East.
Turn right into Gashes Creek Road.
Turn right into the Nature Center and pool.
